Your Privacy Matters
No Data Storage
We do not store, log, or retain any of your personal information or photos. Your photos are processed and immediately discarded - they are never saved to disk, databases, or any permanent storage.
How Photo Processing Works
Most photo processing (resizing, cropping, optimization) happens directly in your browser using JavaScript and never leaves your device.
Optional Background Removal: If you enable the "Use white background" feature for personal photos, we first attempt to process your photo entirely in your browser. This means your photo never leaves your device. However, if your device or browser cannot handle the processing due to memory limitations, we automatically fall back to our 100% secure server. When using our server, your photo is securely sent, processed entirely in memory, and immediately returned to your browser with no copies stored anywhere. You can disable this feature at any time by unchecking the option, and all processing will remain on your device.
Privacy-First Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to understand basic website usage (like number of visitors and which countries they're from). Plausible is a privacy-focused analytics service that doesn't use cookies, doesn't track individuals, and doesn't collect personal information. No IP addresses or personal data are stored.
Third-Party Services
This website is hosted on Netlify. While we don't collect your data, Netlify may collect basic server logs as part of their hosting service. Please refer to Netlify's privacy policy for their data handling practices.
Your Photos Are Safe
We take your privacy seriously:
- • Photos are never stored on our servers - processing is in-memory only
- • No photos are shared with third parties
- • No logs or records of your photos are kept
- • Processed photos are only saved to your device when you download them
- • You control whether background removal is used (can be disabled)
